Terms & Conditions
Due to the handmade nature of our products, there will always be some variation in colour, texture, weight, fragrance, design or packaging between batches. However, we endeavour to maintain as much consistency as is reasonably possible. If you have any queries regarding your order, contact us at email@example.com and we'll get back to you.
All prices are quoted in Euros (€). Delivery is made at an additional cost - please see our Shipping page regarding these costs - to Ireland, UK, other EU countries and the Rest of the World. We reserve the right to make price changes without prior notice - however, this will not occur for goods already ordered and awaiting delivery.
Payment is accepted via Stripe/Credit Card or PayPal. Goods will not be dispatched until full payment is received by us. Payment of your order made via Stripe/Paypal is completely secure – we don’t retain any payment information or card details. All credit card details for online payments are processed via Stripe. The Moher Soap Co. cannot take responsibility for any charges incurred by you from your Credit Card Company or Bank in relation to the processing of any order made with us. Please note that if, for any reason, your card payment is not authorized by your bank/credit card company, we will not be able to proceed with your order and it will be cancelled.
Please note that the buyer will be responsible for any customs duties/taxes levied on the import of items into their country.
Please ensure you give us a complete postal address - we cannot accept any responsibility for items that are undelivered due to the submission of an incomplete address. The Moher Soap Co. cannot accept any responsibility for delays which may arise from postal strikes/busy periods such as Christmas, etc.. In instances like this, please allow extra time for delivery.
We cannot be held responsible for orders (for which we hold a proof of posting in the form of a receipt from our Post Office) that subsequently go missing in the post. If an order is sent to your given address but not delivered, rather is held in the Post/Sorting Office and not picked up, the Post Office will return the order to us. Unless that order had been cancelled within the regulatory 14 days, our legal requirements would have been fully met and a full refund would not be available. In this situation we are not responsible for any additional costs involved in re-sending the order, rather you must meet that additional cost yourself and you will receive a Stripe invoice for the postal charge.
Under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, you have a 14 day cooling off period during which you can cancel your order and receive a full refund. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to invoke this right.
However, as we endeavour to dispatch orders within 48 hours, your order may have already been sent prior to you cancelling your order. If this is the case, please return your package unopened, unused and in a re-saleable condition and we will organise a refund of your order costs within 30 days.
Refunds will be made via the payment method originally used, minus shipping and any costs involved in the crediting procedure. The Moher Soap Co. cannot be held responsible for any goods lost in transit and we advise the use of registered shipping to return products.
We do not sell or pass on any of our customer's information, ie name, address, email address etc. to any other parties. However, we do reserve the right to contact you regarding your order.
These Terms & Conditions of Sale do not affect your statutory rights.
Sales of Products to National/International Customers
Please note that all products offered for sale by www.themohersoapco.com are produced within current Irish & EU cosmetics legislation. The customer, by agreeing to our Terms & Conditions at the time of placing an order, agrees that this contract is governed by the laws of Ireland and the laws of the European Union applicable therein.
